Apollo 2001

2001. Infini-D, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sound Edit 16.
Total run time: 11:19

Apollo 2001 is my homage to the space program and the science fiction shows/movies I watched as a kid: Lost In Space, U.F.O., Space 1999, Star Wars, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and of course, Star Trek. I built all of the 3-D models from scratch (including surfaces) in Infini-D, created the animations, edited the clips in Premiere, added sound effects and music. It was truly a labor of love. Most of the voices, and some of the music and sound effects were lifted from Apollo 13—a more contemporary film, but another favorite none the less. I realize I'm stepping on all sorts of copyrights here; hopefully the various rights holders will see this as a loving tribute, and not theft.
