Mask up, Santa

Sometime in the midst of the COVID pandemic in 2020 I began to think about ideas for a Christmas card. I began to think about images in which the characters were wearing masks while celebrating the holidays, when suddenly it occured to me that my first Christmas card, "Ho Ho..Uh Oh", would be perfect for the concept. Then I realized that 2020 was exactly 30 years since I had created that original card. With this in mind, I decided that I needed to do something extra special, so for the first time I used color in my Christmas card art, painting it with acrylics.
