In 2005, I took the girls to see the Soo Locks for the first time. They loved it. Here Rachel depicts a red freighter downbound in the Poe lock (note the coils of rope holding her in place). Meanwhile a blue ship is just entering the picture, headed upbound and into the MacArthur lock. To the far left is the International Bridge to Canada. At the bottom is the observation building.
