In early 2008 Ellie entered the PBS Reading Rainbow "Young Writers and Illustrators" contest. She took advantage of a tool PBS provided that allowed the participants to create their artwork on-line. Out of over 1000 entries for the Twin Cities, Ellie was chosen as a finalist. Here is here story (click on the picture to the left).
