Frog illustrations from Ellie's Tadpoles
2008
Watercolor, pen and ink, color pencil.
(various)
In 2008 I created an educational interactive program called Ellie's Tadpoles for my MFA thesis. As part of that process I created a series of frog (and toad) illustrations. You can see (and play) the finished product here.
Can you identify the frogs? Top row from left-to-right: green frog, cricket frog, and gray treefrog; middle row: spring peeper, bullfrog, and American toad; bottom row: Western chorus frog, wood frog, and leopard frog.
Green frogs are my favorite—I love the weird banjo string sound they make.
