Love In the 90s (after Rodin)

This is the second version of a piece I originally did in 1989.

In the 80s AIDS and STDs became huge stories. There was a lot of talk about “safe sex” and “safer sex.” You might say that this is the “Safest Sex.”

The piece of course is a parody of Auguste Rodin’s “The Kiss” (a personal favorite).
