This is the first image I made with the pinhole camera that I built. It shows our street, looking south from our house. The photo was taken in early April, so the trees are just starting to bud.

Note the large elm trees in this photo. In the last few years our block has lost at least four such trees to Dutch elm disease (Minneapolis has lost thousands overall). There are about six maybe seven left on our block (five of which can be seen in this image, though one is largely obscured).
