Tahquamenon Falls is located in the Upper Peninsla of Michigan. Actually there are two sets of Falls: Upper and Lower. The Lower Falls (seen in this photo) consists of a series of cascades or varrying sizes. In addition, the falls surround an island in the river, so there are actually two sets of falls. The Upper 'Falls' is just a single cataract (albeit a big one). Here's a site with a kinda' cool Quicktime VR tour of the Falls (if anyone's interested).
That's my wife & daughter in the distance, wading in the river.
