I shot this photo of Rachel H. at a youth retreat that I was chaperoning. Rachel, who is two years my junior, would have been a senior in high school at the time. So what is she doing? Why the odd pose? Well, as I recall I was taking random candid photos of the campers and fellow chaperones one morning as folks were preparing breakfast, etc. Rachel emerged from her room still in her flannels and began to goof around with her friends. When she spotted my camera she suddenly stopped and struck this pose; thinking it funny, I shot the picture.
