As I've mentioned elsewhere, I went through a mythology kick in the 90s (centaurs, mermaids, fauns, marshwiggles, etc.). This is a little fairy doodle I scribbled one day. I think I was inspired by Brian Froud.

I prefer the older, more Celtic spelling faerie to fairy or fairie (or even faery).
