In 2007 I decided to create a family history card set. My goal was to make cards for everyone in my family (parents, siblings, spouses, children, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins). Not only that, I wanted to create several cards for each person, one for each decade ( 40s, 50s, 60s, etc.). Well, that proved to be a bit overwhelming, so I scaled things back a bit and concentrated on my immediate family, parents & grandparents and only a four years ('47, '60, '77 and '06ish).

Here are some of the cards from the late 40s set and the 1960 set. Note that all of these photos are actually black-and-white; I colorized them all with Photoshop. The designs of the cards are based on actual card styles from the corresponding time periods.
