Assignment

Create a VISUAL glossary of the elements of art & design. Use an image of an artwork (not found in our lecture or textbook) by a famous artist that clearly illustrates one of the following vocabulary words:

• line
• shape
• form
• value
• texture
• color
• space

Describe HOW the work illustrates the definition you chose. Be specific, use complete sentences, & highlight art vocabulary words. INCLUDE your image in the posting! Also include the following information:

• title
• artist
• medium (oil paint, acrylic paint, ink and paper, ceramic.....)
• dimensions
• website url (link image where you found it)

Procedure

Find an image online. Drag the image to your desktop. In the Moodle forum window write your response. In the window that you typed your response there is a picture box (just to the left of the smiley face), click on that icon and follow the prompts to upload an image Adjust the size/rotation of the image if necessary.

Deadlines

• Post initial response no later than midnight Sunday Sept 10
• Respond to two classmates entries no later than midnight Tuesday Sept. 12
