What is your favorite work of art? Find a picture of your favorite piece of art, or a favorite (on-line, in a book, in a museum, on your wall, wherever). If it's in a book scan it or take a picture with your cell phone.

Write a brief explanation (1-2 short paragraphs) that explains why you are attracted to the work of art. Why is it your favorite (or a favorite)? The reasons you give can be technical or personal; there are no wrong answers (but in-depth, thoughtful answers are best!). Upload the image AND your written rationale to Moodle. Do this before class on Friday!
