My high school art teacher gave me an assignemt to do a painting, any subject. I had no idea what to do. Somehow I got this Aztec pyramid image in my head, thought it might be cool. I put the gold thing on top because I thought it needed something; don't look for any meaning or symbolism here.
The painting is a bit wrinkled because it was removed from its stretchers and rolled-up for storage and transport.
