Artwork: Fortnightly Cover

Fortnightly cover

1979, age 12
Pen, reproduced using carbon paper.

Although I had done illustrations for the Fortnightly for several years, this was the first time I got to do the cover. Since it was the last issue before the end of the academic year, I decided to depict a variety of summertime activities that I enjoyed. Note an early interest in different type faces.
