The concept behind my "anachronism" project is simple: how would a designer from a past era design an ad for a modern product? Students choose a contemporary object (cell phone, computer, iPod, etc.), then choose a historical style from a list I provide (Victorian, Art Nouveau, Constructivist, etc.). Then they create their anachronistic ad with Adobe Illustrator.

iPods tend to be a popular choice for this project.
